Neuroscience

Why study neuroscience?

The neuroscience major at Augustana University is an interdisciplinary program that fosters understanding of the brain and mind.

  • Students use multiple disciplinary approaches to examine the societal, ethical and cultural implications of neuroscience.

  • Through experiences in classes, laboratories — including the use of one of only a few known Anatomage Virtual Cadavers in the region — and in the field, students develop critical skills required for employment in related industries or admission into graduate programs.
